Dear participants,
Health literacy describes the ability to find, understand and apply relevant health information. This is particularly important for chronic conditions such as tinnitus. Tinnitus affects approximately 10-30% of the adult population in Europe and can have a significant impact on quality of life, for example due to sleep disturbance, stress and psychological strain. Despite the major individual, societal and economic impact, systematic approaches to improving tinnitus health literacy are limited.
This is precisely where the Erasmus+-funded TinWise project starts. In a consortium of the University of Cyprus, CYENS - Centre of Excellence, the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, the National Technical University of Athens, Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin and Jena University Hospital, we are developing innovative digital solutions to help tinnitus patients in Europe to specifically use important health information and thus better manage their condition. This includes the development of an interactive learning platform, digital learning games and a chatbot that provides information on tinnitus.
An important first step in our project is a needs analysis: we want to find out which information and support services are particularly relevant for those affected. Your participation in the following survey will help us to develop tailor-made solutions that contribute to improving health literacy in long-term.
Participation in the survey takes about 20 minutes. If your browser is closed or your computer is switched off, the survey cannot be continued. The survey can be canceled at any time. In this case, any data already entered will be deleted.

We thank you for your valuable support!
