Thank you so much for taking the time to participate in this study!
The study „Patterns and Practices of German Global Health Researchers in Policy Advisory Roles“ is conducted by Nora Anton as part of her doctoral research in the PhD Global Health program at Charité.
This cross-sectional survey of German global health researchers aims to understand the extent and nature of their engagement in policy advisory activities at national and international levels, including the modes and pathways through which this engagement occurs. Additionally, it examines whether and how factors related to motivation, capability, opportunity, and sociodemographic characteristics are associated with policy engagement, as well as the perceived outcomes of such activities. Overall, the study seeks to improve understanding of both the opportunities and limitations of academic policy engagement and to generate insights that may inform future interventions to strengthen research–policy relationships in Germany and beyond.
