Thank you for your interest in participating in this Delphi study on the development of a multi-perspective fidelity scale for Integrated Youth Mental Health Services (IYMHS). 

This study aims to find out what makes youth-friendly walk-in mental health services (i.e., IYMHS) work well. Based on your responses, we will review and improve an existing draft of a practical tool (a “fidelity scale”). A fidelity scale is designed to help services check how closely they follow agreed good practices and where they can improve. It can also be used in research to better understand and evaluate how effective these services are.
While most fidelity scales focus on the perspectives of professionals, we have also developed a version for youth using IYMHS (i.e., experience experts). Together, these form a multi-perspective fidelity scale.

By taking part in this questionnaire and the Delphi study, YOU help refine this tool, define what good practice looks like in real-world settings, and ensure it is both useful for services and meaningful for research on improving mental health care for young people.

Please note that the surveys for professionals and experience experts differ in some aspects and are therefore conducted separately.

Study procedure:

1. Screening survey

• Read the study information (also available as a PDF download)
• Provide electronic informed consent
• Answer a few screening questions to assess eligibility

2. Delphi rounds

• Conducted via separate survey links
• First round invitation sent after recruitment (approx. 4–8 weeks after completing the screening)
• Each round timeline:
  • 2 weeks to respond
  • 1 week for data analysis
• Next round follows after approx. 3 weeks

Typically, 3 Delphi rounds are needed to reach consensus.

Participation is voluntary and your responses will be collected anonymously and treated confidentially. 

Completing this survey will take approximately 20 minutes.
